Selling right now makes no sense...especially if your an early adopter.

Wait all that time and then cash in when:

a, The console has been drastically reduced.

b, Quality software will start being released more regular from the release of the mario's onwards.

I love the 3ds and i dont even use the 3d effect, sure it was released too early and the hardware has flaws...but they have tided us over with a few good games and tidy re-releases/remakes of some of the greatest games.

Christmas willl be great for the 3ds...i can honestly see nintendo selling a bundle over the holidays.

Then crisis over.

Oh, also some nice free gba stuff to come soon.

Plus, most stores will likely do decent trade in deals for any new model when it arises

From being all down in the dumps about the 3DS i'm now all hyped again thanks to playing Mario Land and Mario Kart at eurogamer. Both were fantastic and exceeded my pretty high expectations. Kid Icarus wasn't too shabby either.

Same here very impressed with both marios,kid icarus and resident evil revelations looking good as well

I think selling a few weeks back made sense as the price hadn't completely bottomed out and I pretty much got back what I paid for it, i was really impressed the first few weeks but then after pilot wings and zelda the novelty wore off, zelda was fantastic but really showed how 3d tech in this really dident work for a game that requires you to play for long periods, as any slight movement ruined the 3d effect.

I will buy the revision when it comes out if the 3ds is established but I really wouldn't be suprised if nintendo looses the handheld market to smart phones. They really missed a trick with there download store as its a mess and its overpriced. If they had launched with a really healthy offering of 99pence gameboy games, and ?1.99 gba games in an easy to navigate store, they really could of shown that they were serious about downloadable games and software. the massive cataloge of dsi stuff could also do with looking at and repriceing.

Don't even get me started on the terrible web browser, or the completely ignored Ar functions, (which to me wowed my friends more than the 3d) they have a lot of ground to make up and on current form I have serious doubts on how well they will do long term.

I've got to say I’m loving my 3ds. Zelda, Starfox, Pilotwings and Ghost Recon are all great and there are loads of promising titles soon. I can't wait for: Mario, Mario Kart, Kid Icarus, Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Paper Mario and Luigi’s Mansion.

Does anybody know if Fifa is any good?

Anyway, dl'd 4 swords, really surprised how nice it is. Well done Nintendo. I actually quite like the eshop now, there seems to be a constant flow of releases and new stuff on the horizon, the new intelligent systems title for one. In some cases some of the prices are nuts tho.

Anyway roll on Mario and kart. Oh and those free gba games!

Did anyone get Mario Land 2? I have some serious performance problems on this, with slowdowns and even some odd flickering in places. I'm wondering if it was like that in the original or is this emulation problems? I have the original but can't find something to play it on...

In GAME this afternoon (having a go on FIFA on the 360 demo pod) and noticed that the 3DS game cases have been redesigned. They've changed the frame colour and position to make it look very different from how DS game cases look.

Seems someone has noticed the need to differentiate on the shelves at last.

Nintendo reps have been going to stores and popping a plastic cover over the game cases as a trial to see if it stands out better. Mainly because people pick up 3DS games and get them home and they don't work on a DS. Fools.
