Which is fair enough, but why not TELL us what that price IS?

As I said:
"They didn't announce the price because it will be up to the distributor of each country. Nintendo only distributes it's products to a couple of countries in Europe. The rest is handles by independent importers, who set their own prices."

Had this been a UK press conference, they would have announced a price for the UK, but this was communicated to all of Europe.

No they couldn't. The price varies greatly from country to country. And they do so despite exchange rates. "It only costs 230?, why does it not cost 2456NOK here, when that is the equivalent?" Sound familiar?

My guess - ?399 at Game. Or ?449 if you trade in 7 DS Lites & a DSi.

Because of the exchange rate? It's not in the hands of Nintendo how strong/weak the dollar is at the moment. If you take average income in consideration, the 3DS is actually cheaper in the UK.

Yeah, but you made it sound like Nintendo should price it lower due to the exchange rate? If so, should they price it up again when the dollar gets stronger?
