Going off recent trends you'd get a handful of titles making it over due to the raised profile but many of them seem to fail at PAL release as the only audience that was interested had already imported them. Most important part of this review is this - "the truth is some moves are quite awkward to perform on 3DS". And they seem to spend a whole lot of words on the touchscreen input, which seems to me like going on about how great having crutches is while not making much of the fact that you've broken your leg.Originally posted by davek22 View PostComment

After totally ignoring the 3DS, I'm now totally caught up in the hype and thinking about ordering one. Given the region locking I'm thinking a US one is the way to go as I'm likely to buy things like Atlus games, but I can't seem to find anywhere to pre-order one from, where are other people ordering their US machines?Comment

Tbh, down the years every time a new machine is launched, most launch games are given good reviews anyway. I'm not saying they are wrong with SF3D but high reviews are usually the norm.Comment

From what i played i would agree with those scores, Pes was great from what i played im deffo picking it up.

I'm talking from a reviewers point of view. Most actual gamers buy the launch titles and then agree that 90% are crap with a couple of excellent games. They look good tho i have to say.Originally posted by gizmo1990 View Post

Is it just me or are there a lot of 3DS haters on Euro Gamer (in the comments)? It seems almost universal and they all seem to want a NGP, and making stupid comments about the kids deciding who wins, and the 3DS only appealing to kids and that an adult would see through it. They sound pretty immature to me...Comment

I just ignore them as they talk total bs half the time.I think they are jelous fanboys who are missing out on great games and innovation because of their attitude.

To be fair, since the new year, there have been a big stream of negative news from Nintendo that's put a dampener on things a bit.
A launch line up with some nice games but no real 'system seller', the open pricing (which has turned out very well for us in the end with the ensuing price war), no VC and no 3DSWare (at launch), region locking.
Couple that with an incredibly impressive NGP unveiling and it's not surprising it's brought out lots of comments of that kind.Comment
