Store credit - think of the games!
I popped down to game last night and got Nintendogs - I have to say I'm a little disappointed. Not because the game is crap, it's not, it's more of the same - the main thing that annoyed me is the games inability to convert Play Coins to some kind of currency of walking the dog.
How come I need the cartridge in just to walk the dog? Surely it can work out how many more steps I've taken since last time I've played and use that?Comment

Nintendo are saying all the reports about how much stock there is fall way short of what they've actually put into the channel, and that if you want one you'll be able to find one for at least the first week.
They also say they expect the low prices to vanish pretty sharpish.Comment

I just called two different Currys stores in Plymouth. They're selling the 3DS with a selected game for £174. I made them double check, and they said yep they got the prices in this morning. I'll be heading there soon, so will confirm later. Both stores said they had plenty available. I called Toys R Us (who I have my preorder with) and they do price match, but only on solus systems and not bundles. They did say I can get my £10 deposit back, though.
EDIT: Just called again, and the console is £174, but that is when you buy it with a game. I wasn't told that the first time I called. The games are £35, which brings it to just under £210. Same as Tesco, then.

Very true, although I had registered after midnight in the hope that the offer wouldn't actually start until the 25th.
Can't see it mentioned so can anyone confirm game prices in Game, blockbuster, HMV and Currys? Will go have a look later but stuck in waiting for a (non-3DS) delivery.Comment

Guys I need your help.
I'm not the kind of guy who plays games ALL THE TIME. So 40 hour epics take me months and months to finish.
I'm torn which game to get out of Pilotwings and Nintendogs.
I liked the old Nintendogs on DS but I'm worried it'll feel more like a chore eventually rather than fun - and I've always liked the sound of Pilotwings (never played one) but I'm worried at the amount of content.
