Will wait until I play it to pass any real judgment. 2010 wasn't a bad looker. Needs better fluidity in animations. Apparently, animations have had a massive overhaul. I really wouldn't judge that footage as anywhere near alpha build though. You can see of unfinished stuff and bugs.

Ok maybe I am just a cynic following the last 3-4 versions of pes all being pretty much the same. I will try the demo, as always. Those nets do look so low budget though.

I can't see how anybody can see enough here to declare it bobbins or brilliant, other than the slightly arthritic looking shuffle of the players its hard to form any strong views unless wearing fanboy rose tinted glasses or whatever the hate monger equivalent is.

You're going to have to get used to me being a fanboy, I'm afraid. I love PES. Yeah, it's slumped dramatically since coming onto PS3/360 (except for 6). But fanboys like me still pray for PES to become good again. We know FIFA is there and is great. Probably be much better this year too, but you gotta let fans dream in this thread. You have a right to be cynical. PES has defo promised and not delivered for far too long now. I'm sure there's more people like me here who pray for it to become good again. Let us get excited without the usual. "FIFA is better", "why do people like this game still?" type plop.

I think it will offer a decent football game. Konami cannot afford to mess up again with the ever increasing quality of Fifa. As Merf said though it is very early days yet so no one can tell really what it will be like.

I?m looking forward to this more than FIFA11, I know FIFA as improved over the years but I can?t feel the love for it like I do for PES. I?ll always be a PES fanboy.

Hmmm, they still look a little stiff for me.

The animation looks 100% better. If the input timing is as snappy as old PS2 PES, then Konami look like they may actually deliver this year. No complaints from me in how it looks in that vid.
