What really hampers the experience for me is the acceleration in the aiming. I get that they want to make the weapons feel heavy and whatnot, that part actually sounds cool, but the execution is lacking. Being used to games with good aim (games with little to no acceleration and many degrees of turn speed), you have to learn aiming all over again, as the aiming in KZ behaves very differently. I guess it's easier for people with little experience in FPS to get into KZ, as its easier for them not to oversteer the aiming, as it starts out pretty slow. But for me at least, it's extremely annoying missing a shot just because the reticule suddenly started to move faster without my thumb moving.

It wasnt a fast paced game.
The aiming in Killzone 3 is actualy alot faster than it was in the second one by default though, and i think its a tad smoother too, i didnt notice any "acceleration" in the beta.

I'm finding that the move controls are a lot more natural for me. My problem with FPS games is when I came under fire I would spin around wildly firing trying to locate whoever was shooting at me, even if I ended up facing the right direction it would be a miracle if I could get the cursor in the right place before I died.
With the Move I'm finding that I'm able to target instinctively - I'm still not very accurate but I can instinctively aim in the correct general direction. It seems to be a big benefit (for someone like me anyway)

I think Bioshock is one of the most overrated games out there, but thats just my humble opinion.
Killzone 3 may have a crappy and short storyline, but its multiplayer looks to be stellar. Hardly any review out there mentions the MP mode and if they do, its quite positive.
Killzone also gets a lot of flak for some reason, more than any other FPS out there (probably even more than Crysis). Why that is must have to do with the fact that its a Ps3 exclusive and that Killzone 2 was being hyped up too far with bullshots and fake trailers. People hated the 'Halo killer' original too. Also in Holland the series isn't being met with a lot of sympathy, although its likely our biggest gaming export. All those numbskulls repeat what reviews say while loading up BLOPS. That game does nothing new and different, suffers from a ****load of problems and its crappy story might be the most minor offender.
I think Bioshock is one of the most overrated games there is (bar its art) and I don't know KZ gets the knockers it does
it's really a shame that Guerilla seemingly don't have any talent to tell a decent story, most of all since the universe they created is so rich and resourceful in terms of history, culture and locations
I thought Killzone II to be a totally brilliant and Epic FPS with hands down the best graphics ever seen in a Console FPS, Killzone III just seems to improve on that , and I for 1 can't wait

I'm trying to think of a FPS that actually has even a pretty good story. There must be one. Bioshock was a bit up itself, and not actually a very good FPS - good atmosphere though. Storywise, CoD is absolute ****, Halo's are nothing but incomprehensible fanboy serving crap; I laughed a bit during BC2 as it wasn't taking it seriously and played for laughs. I don't know, KillZone seems to get knocked just because it's KillZone. I thought the second was a decent enough story and the ending left me gagging for more.
