Using the phone app makes the messages less annoying...you even get the notification through 10 secs before the console. Keypad obviously better than controller for typing.

But during peak times it all becomes painfully slow...if I don't buy the DLC for Destiny I won't be renewing my plus when it expires in Dec.

Crappy roguelike indie games and invites that take 10mins to reach you are not worth the cash.

Speaking of PSN, is anyone else having trouble accessing Store on PS3?

When I try to access the store it freezes the entire system and the controller won't work, I can only hit the power button on the console to turn it off.

I wonder if my console is starting to break up...

Not got my PS3 any longer so can't help with that one.

Guess the rest of the November PS+ games should be announced in the next day or two.

i had that the other day too, had to quit the store without it even loading.

Absolutely no indication yet from Evolution on when to expect this. They're too busy getting the network working for people who've bought the full release, which is totally fair enough I reckon.

If i had to guess, I'd say early December now, based on how long it's taking them to get DC fully up to speed. Hope it's much sooner than that though!

That's what I thought, they've not been confirmed officially by Sony but these leaks are normally correct.

Seems like Sony suckered everyone on the internet (myself included) to buy PS+ and gave away all the "free" good titles a while ago. It's been some indie rubbish-only for quite a long time now. But what could they give on PS4 for example as it has pretty much zero games (barring indies).

My subscription ran out and now I can't play Shadow of Colossus anymore, you don't get "free" stuff you rent it. I'm not renewing it either.

I will only buy the games I actually want from now on, instead of renting a bunch of s*** I don't even necessarily want to play.

Can you still play online games on PS4 without a subscription to PS+? Serious question - I don't know (will be unwrapping my PS4 at Chrimble). I'm not at all interested in being bunged a load of random tat each month as I wouldn't even play them.

Luftrausers is okay for ten minutes, a bit of a twist on the arcade shooter. Frozen Synapse is decent on PC although it looks somewhat different on PS3 - if it plays the same then there's quite a lot of game time to be had from it.

Edit - just noticed I've got SteamWorld Dig on Steam too which I've never played so let's take a looksie ...
