I'm not really into this franchise, but I've got to admit... those last videos look pretty spectacular. It looks like Sucker Punch has improved their engine massively since the first game.

Very nice rapics. But what I really wonder about is if it is still just a bunch of fetch quests in a lifeless city? Thought the first one was very underwhelming. Great tech, but uninspired gameplay.

I really thought they'd keep this until the autumn but it's been announced with a release date of June 7th in the US.

They've also now confirmed that it will be released in Standard, Special and Hero editions.

I really hate the two tiered game pricing. Where you miss out on game content if you buy later or don't get the limited/special edition. It just makes me want to avoid the game and wait until the game of the year edition comes out.

I know. This is one of the worst fads of this generation. Personally I will never pay 10? extra for some digital content like this. With items of this nature, it should be included in the game in the first place, or not at all.

You'll continue to see collections like these as they are about the only way for developers to make a decent profit on each sale. People seem to like them and keep buyin them so they'd be daft not to really.

I suppose it could be multiplayer in this but that's also been leaked ages ago, it could also be going multi platform but I'm not sure GDC in their games so it may just be that Sony have bought the company.

I imagine that it being a two year secret means that it's possibly a new IP which could well be into production now. Their GDC session is called inFamous 2 Update with Sucker Punch but if it's a secret they've held onto for two years they're hardly likely to give it away like that.

this was always an insta buy for me as loved the original

user generated mission mode though to keep the content coming can't do any harm as long as they don't take their eye off the single player ball
