I've only ever played the arcade game, so I'm interested in how they make a very arcadey experience a much longer one.

The screens are portrait, the seats vibrate and the controls recoil when you fire. It's pretty tough and you not only have to finish off the bosses, but you have to do it within a tight time limit.

On a home version, if it's too tough you'll lose interest and too easy it'll be over too soon and there's not that many bosses, so I hope they up the number.

I really hope they tweak it and make it as fun in the home as it is in the arcade!
Sounds awesome, and makes me pine for a close by arcade.

Hopefully they can sort out a good home port with challenge missions, extra enemies and such. Namco have a good history of consolising their arcade games I guess, though I hear it's going to be budget priced in the US, so maybe it'll be a bare bones port...Sadface.

    Still getting it, like.

So you can charge it every 3 hours? Pass.

I wish all gamers had that opinion.

I will continue to dream that a Wii U F-Zero is announced and looks amazing.

No. I want one for the 10-15 (minimum) must-have titles it will have over the course of it's life.

So, you're going to get one in 2016?
            Kept you waiting, huh?

Nah, I'll get one when three to four of these said titles come out, so probably mid next year.

Ghost Squad was a budget price and that was amazing.

I changed my preorder back to the Nintendoland version. I'm sure I'll be able to get ZombiU also and not be paying more. I won't be playing local multi in that game so the controller is useless to me for a long time (ZombiU solo would be pointless without the Gamepad) so I can probably get one 2nd hand down the line when/if it's needed. I'm going to aim for the standard Premium Pack, ZombiU and maybe for the sake of something extra NSMBMii

Nintendo has licensed the Unity engine for its own use and to hand out to other developers. A tech demo is in the link

Tank Tank Tank is not a budget release here, it's still got the full $59.99 MRP.

Just ordered mine! Convinced the wife by saying "it will be our family present....." hahaha fool!
Just the premium for now but will add zombie u, mario, rayman, cod by release. Also would like the wii u versions of darksiders and assassins creed but hopefully santa can help with those. I'm officially excited now
                      And roll on e3!

Just curious, why are you guys opting for the NintendoLand pack rather than the ZombiU one? I haven't seen anything of NintendoLand, i'm guessing its what WiiSports was for the Wii.

I'm definitely getting Nintendoland. Seems to be the sweetest couch multiplayer game in years. http://www.gamesradar.com/why-best-t...for-last-year/

It definitely looks like it has a lot of charm, some of the visuals are gorgeous too - esp for the pikmin-inspired game. A must in my opinion

I was hoping to be able to just walk into Tesco and buy one on release day, but that's probably not going to happen. So I preordered a Premium pack on Amazon last night. I reckon I might even put an order in with Game just to make sure I'm getting one.

North America seems to get NintendoLand by default with the deluxe set, which is the only reason I'll be getting it. I may even trade it in soon after launch to put towards other games.
