GTA Online will launch on October 1st. It is a separate package that uses GTA 5 tech and assets. You get free access if you buy GTA 5.

It's not so much the actual graphics but how much variety there is and how smoothly it all runs.

Looks good but to me it looks like what they're saying is it's the single player hosting all players at once and other gamers take over AI roles in missions until Rockstar releases additional missions. Nice that they'll have so many players at once, can't see me spending much time on it though.

GTA IV was a major let down for me after the epic 3, VC & SA on the previous gen. I've only just completed it this wk after its been sitting on my shelf since release day, & I only completed it cos I thought I should give it a 2nd chance & to get rid of it with the Gamestop deal for GTA V.

GTA IV suffered with crappy player & vehicle controls (or maybe they were too realistic?) inc the targeting system & behind car camera issues, a bland forgetful city, repetitive missions that weren't fun, over-punishing cops, a story that jumped from 1 extreme to another & forgetful characters.

I just hope they've sorted all of that out for this one

I thought all the footage shown has been PS3 version, it would be pretty stupid for Rockstar to show non console footage.
