Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Even without playing the game you know the formula and what experience you are likely to expect which is essentially a polished version of everything that came before it. It is almost like saying you can't say anything about COD if you have only played the one before.

I think what they have done is amazing and a great technical achievement but I also don't really see what so many people see in it. I mean fair enough they had a good story in Vice City and it looks like this will be too but most people just mess about in the game which I could never find the appeal of.

Exactly! everyone I know who plays GTA, only does so with cheats enabled so they can pissball about, instead of playing it properly as they all say it's no fun!
