Word, Pangya on PC is a sweet treat, surprised more people around here don't play it, tho obv the IAP is annoying....but the game is free!

        Congratulations dad.

        Microprose Golf - Amiga
Leaderboard was good but MP Golf was on another level. You player's attributes got better as you improved - longer tee shots etc. All done with poly's so proper undulating land.
        Loads of stats & graphs.

        Links - Xbox
Cracking game made even better with the integration of the XSN system. Just the right level of 'tv style intro's' without being too intrusive (FIFA).

Other good games too like Virtua Golf on the PS but those two are easily my favourites.

Did Sega make a Virtua Golf?

          I remember an Actua Golf.

I always liked the original Golf for the Gameboy, the one with Mario on the cover. But nothing beats Neo Turf Masters on the NGPC.

I always enjoy Mario Golf on the N64, and the Gamecube, although the N64 version is superior. Last year I rediscovered Everybody's Golf on the PSP (also from Camelot) and forgot how addictive that can be.

As far as Tiger Woods games go I haven't really invested much time into them past the 2005 edition, but 2004 was the peak up till then for me. It was brilliant on the Xbox and I spent ages playing it one summer.

i'm tempted to say the second psp everybodys golf is the best.

its got more courses than the ps3 version, and you get to customise your character too. which they will probably never do again now they can put new costumes out as dlc.
the ps3 version is amazing though. probably my favourite online experience this gen, and i still think it looks lovely. cant wait to get the vita version next month too.

Its interesting to see that there is no stand out favorite and that there are lots great golf games about.

                              Does this count?

My fave golf game is TopGolf, but that's kinda sorta actual golf.

It's a golf driving range, but with actual targets to aim for with golf balls with microchips in that say how close you are to the target. Quality day out of there's a bunch of you!

Think of it almost like bowling or darts, but for golf! Just hit one of our quality golf balls, each containing a personalized microchip, into one of the 11 targets ranging from 25 to 250 yards away. Every section of every target has a reader that detects the microchip in your clever golf ball. That reader then sends a score to your bay screen based on the accuracy and distance of each shot. No pencil and paper needed to keep score in this game!

World Class Leaderboard on the C64, Mario Golf 64, and Neo Turf Masters are the three that spring to mind for me...
