Yes I agree. It's like saying go out and race a car round the nurburgring, or any other gaming/life related activity.

I'm just about to bust out the Everybody's Golf on PS3. We should get a group online match going sometime.
My favourite golf games over the years are EA Golf for an Amstrad PC in the eighties I think it had about 4 colours!
Gameboy Golf was brilliant.
The original Links in about 1992 for our 286mhz PC!
Minna no Golf 5 for PS3 was/is brilliant but not played it for about 3 years, the online lobbies & matches against the Japanese players was great at the time, exhilarating when you played well and seeing how you were doing against your opponents in real time.
Currently playing Tiger 12 Masters which is really good so far, but obviously more serious.

Nothing that hasn't been said already, but Minna no Golf on PSP is my all time favourite. Gameboy had quite a few good golf games - I had one licenced by Bernhard Langer.
Was delighted when Golf came to the e-shop.
I never got into the Wii golf games. Can get the ball near the green easily enough, but hitting shots at half power is something I just can't do. And putting is totally beyond me.

Nobody's mentioned the fantastic Ace Golf on Gamecube, so I will. Bro and me spent a good 2/3 years playing multiplayer agianst each other, it was a very good 'uniting game'.
Also got to put in a very good word for Tiger Woods 2010 on the Wii (with the Motionplus), it's carkingly good.
Kudos to those mentioning Links on Xbox, one of the most relaxing golf games ever.
Aaaaaaah, golf.
