Let's get speculative!

That's a rhodesian ridgeback a dog breed from South Africa, who also features in this piece of art alongside Big Boss



Here you can see the diamond dogs logo


Peace Walker ends in 1974 and Diamond Dogs is also a Bowie Album from 1974

South Africa is also the home of some big ass Diamond mines (africa's biggest mine no less) and also the battlefield of the South African Border Wars which took place between 1966 to 1989.

Miller also talks about Angola right at the end of Peacewalker also.

They also refferred to the next gen MGS title as "development without borders".....




I'd safely speculate that the screenshot up above is actually in game assets from this game.

The way it's called "Ground ZeroES makes me think a twin timeline origins story thing.

I'm thinking it's about big boss versus the original philosophers/patriots/Zero.

Ground Zero usually refers to the impact point of a nuclear weapon and given the game is still set mid cold war, could it revolve around nuclear weapons.....again.

The Gamespot writeup sounded a bit like the original Metal Gear.

Perhaps its Outer Heaven and Zanzibar Land.

Outer Heaven is in South Africa too, Zanzibar land is set somewhere nearer Russia

I hear this might run on current gen hardware. Would be cool if it does PS3 needs some more stuff. I heard on the 8-4 plays podcast the trailer is very impressive. Should be shown at PAX in English. I think Kojima will release on You Tube too after he said on his Twitter. As well as posting heaps of pics of food as usual.
