Before GFWL support dies on it and I have to faff about I'm revisiting Bulletstorm. Good fun if a little aged.

Still doing XB360 Deus Ex: Human Revolution and continuing to generally enjoy it but also disappointed that in essence it is really is not any more sophisticated in gameplay terms than the original or Invisible War. In some aspects I'd say it is even less so.
I'm being regularly frustrated by the fact that some routes/places I've found I can get to where there is no reason to stop you using them are crudely blocked by invisible barriers. The 'solid' object edge detection is also poor for a modern game ie. you can position for a clear, full visible target sniper scope shot, fire and find your shot still hitting the edge of the wall or crate you're partially hiding behind. Grenades likewise.
If there was some difference between right and left sided shooting positions you'd think this was actually quite clever but there isn't. It is just another one of the surprisingly rough edgesthis well regarded game has.

I remember Sketcz getting worked up about the cyber-hobos not blowing up if you planted a bomb on them and weren't facing them.
I think they've constructed such a fascinating, beautiful and engrossing futuristic world that when game mechanics intrude on that experience it's all the more jarring, which, ultimately, is a complement.
I can't believe the amount of detail in the game at times with things like offices full of furniture and messy desks.
I loved walking into my apartment and the window shutters slid open, casting light into the room, the view across the city as the lift ascended the Tai Yong Medical tower and mooching through the capsule hotel.
It's a brilliant game.

Messing out with stuff like Super Smash Bros WiiU to wrap up my time with the system and some PS2 stuff like Capcom Fighting Evolution and Burnout Dominator (god I miss this franchise).
Now it's pushing on to finish Mario Kart 8 and some more Ps2 titles. I really need to crack on into Witcher 3 but I'm finding it really hard to get hooked into it for some reason.

Forza Motorsport on the original Xbox. Looks fantastic on my PVM and since I entered a silly profile name to get 900 million credits (lol) I'm just messing about with tuning cars and working my way through the races.
Mindless fun, really enjoying it. Definitely gonna grab Forza 4 and Horizon when I get a 360 again.
