so Rayman and Pikmin until summer that interest me. Hmm that's 4 with the 2 I would buy with the system, its more than I wanted when I bought a 3DS or cube. Can I ask owners does this system feel more like a GameCube or a Wii. It makes a difference to me as I loved the Cube but detest the Wii (I know it's called Wii-U but is it lighter on the wand waving bull****e)

It does have a strangely, yet amazingly wonderful, GameCube feel.

Even with the similar-to-Wii menu system it feels more GameCube. The way all the friends lists and online stuff isn't obtrusive to getting on and playing games is great! It's not an ad filled bloated UI. It works and is easy to use.

Shame Pikmin has been delayed, but as long as the rest are not, then its not so bad.

Ahem, N64 and 3DS were slashed in price weeks after launch so you never know.

Basically it's a joy to use. From the very first moment you use the WiiU it captures a fun spirit that the other current consoles don't have. There's something very heartwarming about the system as a whole, just staring at the dashboard and watching people's drawings pop up on screen is enough to bring a smile to my face.

Playing games on it is a lot of fun too, the Gamepad is an amazing piece of hardware that actually improves gameplay, and even when used as a standard controller is very nice to use. ZombiU is my game of the year and Mario and Nintendo land are great too.

Its simply a great console that I instantly fell in love with.

As in all the current VC stuff? I heard we could transfer everything from our Wiis, although that would be too easy to take the piss with I suppose, especially if your Wii is soft-modded with hundreds of illegally downloaded titles (like mine).

You can transfer the vc stuff. Think he means gamecube games though.

They haven't actually been confirmed yet.
