Nintendo Wii U (Thread 2!)

When you do the transfer a message comes up saying some like if you have modded your Wii then any illegal software won't be transferred. I can't remember exactly what it says as my Wii is unmodded so I didn't pay too much attention.

My concern with nintendo is that Pikmin 3 will be a year off or so, as i rememeber being hit woth the 3DS launch window which had Paper Mario in it, and i got that yesterday over 18 months later , Nintendo seem to have the attitude that we will release it when its ready.

I don't think we will be waiting that long ... Its already slipped once as it is ... As long as we don't get it 6 months after everybody else that's all I care about. Because if Nintendo start doing that again the WiiU will be going on Ebay.

its just nintendo are lovely for delaying games, just look at Paper Mario, Luigis Mansion and Animal Crossing on the 3DS as recent examples.

I normally give it about 2 weeks after launch before I make a decision about whether a console is sh*t or not too.

There's the Nintendo shop in the Wii menu if that's what you mean.

Am i of the understanding that the Wii U uses a new shop? so all the content that was on the Wii store is now missing?
