I've got my Wii and Wii U next to each other but I was wondering if there is some sort of adapter so I can just share one of the sensor bars, rather than keep taking it in and out of each other.

Yeah, I've got a NYKO wireless sensor bar for my wii & it works perfect with the wii u & wii at the same time

I have a wireless sensor bar i use on PC for Dolphin works a treat just move it over to the TV when im using my Wii U. Takes x2 AAA batteries and cost about ?3 from ebay.

The only reason the sensor bar is wired in the first place is for power - it literally just projects two infrared lights for the remotes to use as a guide.
