What's the Monster Hunter demo like?
I read somewhere that F-Zero is avaiable for 30 pence for the next 30 days and is the 60Hz version. Maybe this spells the start of Nintendo not screwing Europe over with inferior versions. Probably not. But I hope so.Comment

after comming off of 500 odd hours of tri, i tried the tri ultimate demo and i couldnt use the gamepad for ****.
its nice having items, map, health and stamina etc on the touch screen but the right analog seemed super sensitive and was really anoying.
switching over to the pro controller on the other hand was awesome, the game feels perfect(although im positive the gs lvl 3 charge timing is different) and a nice bonus to is the fact that you dont even need the pro controller as it supports classic controllers to.
the game looks lovely to, not just upscaled but completely retextured to.
having not fought against plessi since mhfu im glad to see his hitboxes are fixed..............fkn hipcheckComment

I must be playing a different game to everyone else as MH seems like a game that's about 15 years out of date. I guess I expected something a bit more current gen.

I have been playing the 3DS demo version tonight and it looks really good. But one problem im having with it is the camera, maybe i need to get used to it but Jesus it could really use a second stick for the camera control.Comment

Don't think it would make much difference considering the second stick on the WiiU version is next to useless. Also and this is coming from a MH virgin, but its a bit old hat really. Even the way the stages are laid out feels like something from the 16bit era. I mean seriously its 2013 and the game loads a little tiny area every two seconds .. To be honest it really did not review very well in this months Nintendo mag, only got a 79%. Pretty much said the same, very dated gameplay with rather small areas to hunt in at a time. Perhaps this is why it suits handheld machines rather than home consoles just by being able to play and put away on the move kind of thing.Comment

Get a psp and play freedom unite. Though they usually take about 50 hours to get into properly before the nuances unravel themselves to you. Once your hooked though its like crack.Comment
