Just been given a 3DS LL.

I'm at super potato right now and they have the LL circle pad for ?2.

Is it worth it? Would it work with any future games made for the new 3DS' c stick?

Too early to know and the CPP isn't much use, but for ?2 it's probably worth having in your collection. It really depends on if you intend to get the relatively small group of games it does work with.

It'd be reasonable to think that it'd work with future games, but with the whole thing about which WiiU games work with which pads, you never know with Nintendo.

Not really worth it imo. Plus I imagine you'll upgrade to a NewLL at some point and they have them built-in.

I thought the LL had a second stick built in?

The "New LL" does have it built-in - the "old" LL does not.

However, it's not 100% clear right now that all 3DS games that supported the 2nd stick will support the "nub" on the new 3DS machines. It seems daft, but we're talking about Nintendo here, who (for example) don't let you use the Wii Classic Pro controller with WiiU games, and don't let you use the new WiiU Pro controller with Wii/VC games, despite the two pads having pretty much the same buttons.

EX Troopers treats the New3DS as if it's a 3DS with the CPP. I established that last week. Can't remember where I posted it though...
I would make the assumption that all games that support the CPP would do the same. I only have MH3G to try it with otherwise.

Does it though? I mean, sure you have fancy new hardware but what games are you playing currently that take advantage of it?

I would have like to played Bayonetta 2 maybe a month earlier but considering the cost of importing an import Wii U I'm not sure that it would have been worth it. Plus I think that the PAL First Print LE is the premier Bayonetta 2 package available globally.

Perfectly content Nintendo gamer here. Especially considering Pok?mon has an (almost) global release date now.

Yeah UK Nintendo gaming sucks, where's Taiko, youkai watch, hero bank, Ex troopers, danball senki? and a ton of other games that most likely wont ever be coming to the UK. Making do with a fraction of the 3DS library doesn't seem like a fun prospect to me. If you enjoy a restricted game library then more power to you.

I'm enjoying finally been able to play all the games i already have with 3D that doesn't strain my eyes or require the 3DS to be held super still. Thats the thing that was worth the upgrade, finally been able to play in 3D as it was intended.

Where are the TWO River City Ransom games eh? Stupid region locking.

That Bayonetta 2 LE never came to Canada. But in fairness the standard edition comes with B1. The eShop prices are a different matter. $55 for B2, and $25 for B1...I don't remember mention of a deal either.

The 3DS has games that won't make it over here. I was very wrong about A-Train 3DS though, much to my own pleasure.

Dear lord they have decided to release a version of wappydog on 3DS, it was bad enough on DS which is why you could find it for $10 after it totally bombed seems they have added some voice clips and slapped it on 3DS lol. Points for trying i guess

The fact they use GCI for most of the demo is pretty shady, what are they trying to cover up?

I went ahead and got the circle pad pro. Y300 and it was brand new.

I'll want to get Kid Icarus at some point so it'll be worth it just for that. Also, I'm hoping home brew stuff will support it if it doesn't already.

Having loads of fun with the 3DS. The large screens are great, although I like the original design more. I don't have any games for it but he left Rockman 1-8 and Sonic 3D on there for me. Sonic is gorgeous.

Gf doesn't like the 3D effect but I'm fine with it. Might pick up Super SF4 as it's only Y1400.

I don't think it works with Kid Icarus.

I believe it can be used to play left handed. You still need to use the stylus, just with the other hand.
