Kind of lame that they dumbed down DKCR for the 3DS version, but at least it won't have the motion controls.

Wonder what's happening with Metroid, hasn't been anything about it since Metroid Other M in 2010. Super Metroid 2 for 3DS would be pretty sweet!

I never post anything positive about Nintendo... But credit where it's due some cool stuff announced for the 3DS recently and I'm really enjoying Luigi's Mansion 2 and loved Castlevania.

You say that, but usually not at the frequency they're starting to pump out for the 3DS. There seems to be a fair few high quality titles for the machine due this year and all announced before E3. Plus their not just recycled 2D Mario no.10 or whatever...

I dunno, maybe your right and with the so called AAA titles leaving my quite cold this year and my handhelds providing me comfort is the reason for the change in feeling - I don't know...

Either way seems there truly is some cool stuff to play for 3DS this year, which is good in my book!

It's no different. You are just aware right now of what Nintendo are putting out. Go back and have a look at the games Nintendo published and developed for the Wii and DS. The problem is that they need better support from third parties.

Your right there, thing is console wise 3rd parties don't seem to have a decent attach rate to the console itself so they fail to support it.... 3DS is fairing better then the Vita in that regard though...

Caught myself eyeing up 3DSs again today in light of all this announced goodness but I'm going to hold off for now (despite gagging for LM2). If this stuffhits this Xmas I can see me caving
