Soul Sacrifice Delta for May 14th (Wednesday? I'm thinking digital only) and localisations for Freedom Wars and Ore no Shikabane wo Koete Yuke 2 as Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines have been announced.

    Great news for vita

I didn't get hooked with Soul Sacrifice but I do want to go back and finish it at some point and Deltas fairytale retelling sound interesting. Freedom Wars sounds interesting and Oreshika is a sequel to a PSone JRPG so hopefully it might have some of that charm.

I remember reading the Keiji Inafune had said Delta was a new game and not an update to the original but a completely new game yet the PS blogs making it sound like its an updated version... What is it? Is it the first game with the DLC faction and a new one or more of a sequel.

I couldn't get into the demo of soul sacrifice. What's the difference in delta? Is it just an upgrade?

Also, how on earth are you guys getting these 64gig mem cards for ?54? Every site you've recommended they always show up at the usual price of ?80-100.

Nin Nin have them for 9430yen/?55. I just looked.

How do I get the contents of my smaller card onto one though? Gotta use a PS3?

Away from memory cards has anyone had any serious time with the original Vita and the slim and really noticed a difference in screen quality (and battery life etc) am looking to pick up a Vita again next month.

I seem to be one of the few who prefers the slim over the original.

The slightly "duller" screen is a small price to pay for me now I can properly press start, select and the PS button. The smaller touch plate on the back is less likely to be accidently hit in the games that use it too.

In terms of battery life I haven't noticed much difference but then I always wear headphones and rarely have the wifi on so it was never an issue on the original.

I suppose it depends how you look at it - for me, the LED screen is the best thing about the Vita. I did notice a difference between the two screens when testing a demo unit, but the slim does still have an excellent screen to be fair.

I'd still recommend people track down a cheaper original unit, though.

Thanks Gents, there are still original new ones about so will probably go that route I think. Cheers.

It doesn't make sense to pay more for less really, although the original Vita is a fingerprint machine - not sure how true this is of the revision.

How much smaller is the rear touch pad on the slim?
I hate games that use it as I always touch it accidentally.... It needs about half an inch trimmed off both sides to be perfect for me.

Reason enough for me to 'upgrade'!!

Good question. Been really wanting to know about this.

Cheeers for the info lads. I should have bought a Vita with my PS4. Think I'll pick up a cheap original. Look forward to getting a White one and playing all the PSOne games on the go and other PS Plus free stuff like Gravity Daze.

The Vita makes a nice companion for the PS4 thanks to Remote Play - means I can still play the PS4 without occupying the telly all evening and making the wife angry.

I've got the Blue OLED version but haven't turned it on since before Xmas, any good games on the horizon or should I sell?

EDF3 on PS+ if you're a J member right now, along with Ys Memories of Celceta and a few others.
Ragnarok Odessey ACE just dropped in NA, God of War collection is out in 2 weeks and Borderlands 2 about the same.

Thought I'd ask here, rather than create a new thread - did the PSP version of Valkyrie Profile ever get a digital release on PSN? If I get a Vita, I'd love to finally finish it.
