I'm all for this game but I'd like some hint from Nintendo that they're making a full 3D single player game.

Nintendo have done well to make 3 different types of games with the Mario franchise. The traditional 2D style, the full 3D single player and now this 2.5D concept.

All work very well but play totally different.

Just booted up mario kart wii on the wiiu.

Looks terrific on the gamepad.

What is the point of wii games on the gamepad if you can't use the gamepad to control them? Does it just act as a very tiny TV?

Nintendo announce Wii games streaming on the 3DS, but you have to use the wiimote and sensor bar.
