I've searched for "X Wii U", but nothing jumped out at me, so I just wanted to say that this new game, "X" is the most interesting looking game coming to the Wii U for me.

It's made by Monolith, and the X is the same as Xenoblade's logo, so I'm guessing it's a spiritual successor.

Either way it looks a bit like that game, Monster Hunter and Lost Planet as it features transforming robots Vs. dinosaurs.
        That's TRANFORMING ROBOTS Vs. DINOSAURS!

Surely the 50hz thing is just speculation based on the PAL one having extra language options (like Super Metroid), no-one even mentioned it was coming this morning until Nintendo did an eShop press release and it was only ever announced in a trailer for the launch of VC games on eShop, which was before before Nintendo committed to giving Europe 60hz VC releases whenever it could (which they have been).

Regardless, I'll get it on Thurs but I'm not sure I'll play it until after Xmas, I still haven't played Earthbound.

Lol nice pun, just use one of the Randomised gaming account to tweet at Nintendo of Europe. https://twitter.com/RDGamerRiven

            Time to message away.

Pikate NOE said it would be the European version in the press release, that said I tweeted them to double confirm before I start, telling them why they are wrong.

Ahh Nintendo, upsetting gamers since...well forever. When you go NTSC you don't get all this crap & worry about weither you are going to get a gimped 50hz version.

Then again with Zsnes & scanlines enabled i can get any snes game looking better than any wiiu vc version could ever look.

True but these days asides from a few changes and the Virtual Console there isn't much point in going NTSC Wii U unless you live in those region. It's not like the SNES era anymore were the Japanese console and games pissed all over the PAL one.

More just Nintendo of Europe being idiots, as I suspect the staff working for them don't know the difference between 50hz & 60hz releases and they don't have access to the USA ROMS.

I think they do it when PAL releases have English, Spanish, French, German etc. It's not really Nintendo's fault, it's Johnny Foreigner.

If thats the case they could easily release the NTSC version & specify it's english only & release the gimped PAL version for people that want another EU language. These are all Nintendo's own games there's nothing stopping them doing it just lazyness.

There might not be much need to go NTSC wiiu at the moment but i can guarantee that there will be games that are awesome & they won't come out over here. Happened on DS loads, already happening on 3DS & will happen on wiiu it's just the way Nintendo is.

Looks great, but what a crap video.

They could have just said "We really haven't got a clue about anything in the game but it looks nice so here is a 2 minute trailer."

Does PAL LttP have language select? It's been around 20 years since I played the PAL version.

Are you serious? That's a Daily Mail gaming headline right there.

It would take a skilled developer little time to patch a US Rom with EU language options.

Why woukd Nintendo spend money doing that? It's not like nobody's going to buy it in 50Hz.
                              Kept you waiting, huh?

thats not the point - how difficult would it be to patch it into multi-language 60HZ, so people can play it the way it was meant to be played? Its not 2005, every TV is capable of playing it.

Selling inferior 50hz versions in 2013 is insane; almost as bad as their recent mario games churn out. Nintendo seal of quality? they really dont give a monkeys chuff.
