And i seriously doubt the launch of the ps4, will increase wiiu sales. Little johnny is going to want super cod, i dont even think black ops II new maps have been released for the wiiu..and i doubt the majority of the wiiu user base, even knows what 'pikimin' is.
Thing is by the end of the year the Wii U will have a resurgence, will Vita?

Especially when 2014 rolls around which store wouldn't stock a Mariokart bundle, it would fly off the shelves! I really think back end of this year will set up 2014 will be Wii U's year.

Vita sales are likely to increase dramatically when PS4 is released due to remote play? Absolutely no chance.

LOL, yeah because everybody will be falling over themselves to play their shiny new PS4 games on a handheld instead of on their TV's with two less buttons.

Not the most exciting addition to the stars catalogue, but useful for me - 3DS game holder/case

Of course you are right that going on current showings i.e. software out for both Vita and Wii U, they both look to be in serious trouble. It may well be unfounded, but my optimism is in some ways based around both systems being important for Sony and Nintendo. I understand that neither company has really delivered with software yet, but there are signs things could change. Vita is going to connect to PS4 ( which for many is a cool feature) and the price of the machine is coming down quite a lot. Just needs a larger installed base and momentum could build up. I'm not concerned at all about WiiU's future. Nintendo appear to be spending on more advertisements and getting ready to start releasing software. I'm sure with a price drop and a few decent games released and the Wii U could become a viable option for people this Christmas who either dont have the cash to buy PS4/Xbox or who just want to play Nintendo games rather...plenty of those people around.

I will probably be playing a lot of my ps4 games on the Vita, as my partner likes to monopolise the telly for important shows like Towie and stuff like that

Seriously, walk down the street as ask how many know, let alone care about Vita connectivity.

I bet more people would rather watch TOWIE.

I now fully expect a revised and possibly cut down Vita model to be revealed at next years E3 along with a handful of game announcements and nothing but drought before that. I also expect it'll be too little too late.

Why by a PS Vita when you can buy a 3DS XL? And if you already have one then why buy a PS Vita when you can buy more 3DS games instead???

Asda have now stopped selling the console from all stores, with only online sales for the games left and select future games. Not a good sign, though I can see other retailers quickly following if ninty doesn't pull it's finger out and start releasing regular quality games to keep interest.

its not even as if they are trying on there own e-store either i logged in for a look and apart form the overpriced digital versions of full games we have no sales that are of any intrest, no new releases, pretty much nothing of note since the initial wave of launch games, i remember the game cube getting a kicking but it was never this bad was it?
