Those people are surely in the vast minority at this point. Even YOU wouldn't argue against that, surely?

Wii VC content in its entirety should already be on the Wii U VC. There isn't any feasible excuse for it not being so and the "business" angle doesn't wash either, especially when the Wii U isn't really a success at present.

You're talking about the (relatively limited) library of games that came out on the Wii VC. Which, yeah, personally I agree should be available on the Wii U. I mean, the whole point of the Wii U's branding and design was to provide continuity from the Wii and it's a really weird omission in that regard.

I would say that the majority of VC buyers would be people such as us. However Nintendo cannot alienate any one group, so they have to also cater for those who will never have played these titles before.

All current Wii content should be available, and be able to utilise the Wii U controllers. That is not a good move at all. The "business" angle is the most important factor here by a long way indeed. You are looking in from a gamers point of view, not that of a shareholder of one of the most profitable companies on Earth. Those people don't care if you can play The Firemen or not, all they require is continued profit.

Well, that was never going to happen. Would've been awesome if Nintendo did that, but it wasn't going to - even I could see that.
