    That gameplay trailer is one I have seen a million times over, it seems somebody had one good session and they thought, damn this sells it well.

    A confirmed release date is nice though and I am finding it harder and harder not to cancel my ps4 pre-order and just wait till next year to get an Xbox One. Who would have thought Xbox pre-orders would sell out...

        They only just released this trailer today on their YouTube channel, heard it was shown at gamescom.

        Hadn't seen it before personally, if I had I would have posted it sooner.

        Looks like spring 2014 is going to be a busy one again.

                    Looks like it's been confirmed to be an exclusive game for Xbox one, xbox 360 and PC.
                    No PS4 version will be developed.

                    EA CFO Blake Jorgensen says Titanfall will be exclusive for the life of product for Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.

                      They say that now but we'll see. Wasnt' the same thing said about the original Bioshock and Mass Effect back in the day?

                        They have been very specific about the terms of exclusivity, saying that that it will be exclusive for the life of the title. This wasn't a PR statement or something passed onto journalists, this is on their investor conference call that is happening right now. They've got no reason to lie about it, because I imagine many investors would want the title on more platforms. Especially PS3.

                        Remember that Mass Effect was published by Microsoft and took for Bioware to be sold to EA and 5 years to come to PS3.

                        Bioshock took over a year to come to PS3 and even then the port was done by another team, that was probably down to the timing of the PS3 hardware launch and the UDK being a poor state of affairs for PS3 in 2007 when Bioshock was released.

                        I don't think it's impossible it will come to PS4, but I think you are simply more likely to see a sequel be multiformat, just like COD. I think that EA are trying to replicate the COD formula right down to an exclusive first title on the consoles.

                          I agree from the way the message was put across Titanfall is not going to be on PS4. Glad I went with an Xbox at launch now.

                          Microsoft must have paid them a nice sum recently to keep it that way.

                            They have refused to state who is making the 360 version, I wonder if MS has paid out to have that version done?

                              As long as MS crossed their t's and dotted their i's its a solid looking exclusive, hopefully for them that terminology doesn't mean some sort of expanded or alt version ends up on PS4. Though sequel on PS4 seems likely, EA won't snub a market for long.

                                talking of a sequel... how long will the game be playable? will they still provide servers after the inevitable successor will be released? if not the game is an early victim of future online-only games that stop be playable and only remains of of nostalgic value.

                                regarding the 720p on Xbox One rumor is there any official source that suggests there is some sad truth to it?
