Wonder what the arbitrary 0.4 was deducted for.

      This is competitive, not co-operative.

The multiplayer reminds me a little of Powerstone 2.

          Probably the "4 Player Camera".

I knew they'd dig at the camera somehow! Chances are if you're left behind you're playing like ****!! It's not the camera's fault.

Single player or multiplayer, that looks fooking fantastic. Bring on the 29th.

This is the kind of game I'd want around 13-14 years ago when practically every day I'd have at least three friends 'round my place for a gaming sesh. Playing online is crap in comparison to having an actual room full of people.

Ah well, seems like I'll be teaching my nieces how to play Mario over Christmas.
Indeed, nothing can compare to an awesome multiplayer experience in a room full of people. Online is so sterile in comparison. To be a carefree 16/17 year old again with all the time in the world to spend with your mates playing videogames ....

I am currently training the missus up for this by going through NSMBU in 2 player (which incidentally is an INCREDIBLE game and one of the best 2D platform games since SMW). Hopefully this will replicate the brilliant time the entire family had last Xmas with NintendoLand - for all of Nintendo's **** ups they are still the kings of local multiplayer games.

Has this slipped to 6th December? Shopto have changed the date.

Hmm, still shows as 29th for me. Wouldn't surprise me if it did but I hope not

Snapped a quick pic of this banner. Says 6th.

Back in the SNES days this would have been excellent and would have skilled players around me...now it would just annoy me like NSMB with 3 crap players ruining my game!
The only time I enjoyed that was when my fellow players were all dead and I could do the level on my own

Seen the banner now, can't find any references to a delay on the net though so I guess the banner is an out of date one from when the game was originally expected to be a December title

At E3 the game was originally slated as Dec 2013 with no specific date, the Nintendo website and official online store confirms 29 Nov 2013.

I cannot wait for this game, I doubt I'll bother with multi-player though as my friends/family aren't skilled gamers so we play simpler stuff like Nintendo Land or The Wonderful 101 (not trolling, it's deep if you want it to be but they can button mash the hell out of it and have fun).

If you put it on easy automatic it will do all the combos for them, not sure about the morph switching.

The sequel to Super Mario 3D Land is an absolute masterpiece - a whirlwind tour of the craziest reaches of the plumber's world.

Review is up, bloody hell sounds just an amazing game, wasnt expecting that score. May have to souce a Wii U again at some point.

Sounds absolutely blinding. It's really making me want to scoop a Wii U to play on release day (DAY ONE).
