Wonder what the arbitrary 0.4 was deducted for.

Played best with thee other equally skilled Mario players. The winner of each stage gets to wear a glowing crown on the next. As it's competitive you're all fighting for coins, stars, first place, and who can reach the highest on the flag pole.
This is the kind of game I'd want around 13-14 years ago when practically every day I'd have at least three friends 'round my place for a gaming sesh. Playing online is crap in comparison to having an actual room full of people.
Ah well, seems like I'll be teaching my nieces how to play Mario over Christmas.
I am currently training the missus up for this by going through NSMBU in 2 player (which incidentally is an INCREDIBLE game and one of the best 2D platform games since SMW). Hopefully this will replicate the brilliant time the entire family had last Xmas with NintendoLand - for all of Nintendo's **** ups they are still the kings of local multiplayer games.

The only time I enjoyed that was when my fellow players were all dead and I could do the level on my own

At E3 the game was originally slated as Dec 2013 with no specific date, the Nintendo website and official online store confirms 29 Nov 2013.
I cannot wait for this game, I doubt I'll bother with multi-player though as my friends/family aren't skilled gamers so we play simpler stuff like Nintendo Land or The Wonderful 101 (not trolling, it's deep if you want it to be but they can button mash the hell out of it and have fun).Last edited by Pikate; 15-11-2013, 22:20.
