Not too worried about the DS4 grip texture yet. If the second hand market proves one thing it's that there's a sea of grubby, filthy disgusting turds out there who treat their games, consoles and pads like chew toys. I've seen DS3's in obscene states yet mine barely wore at all after an immense amount of play hours.

The demo pod down my local smiths toys is still in good nick. By that I mean the ds4 is still new looking. The guy might have got a faulty controller, it happens.

HD install is very simple you do need a flash drive to install the ps4 1.5 firmware to your chosen replacement hdd, you just slide the back panel off and undo one screw, theirs also a speed comparison above seems putting in an ssd makes resogun load about 10 seconds faster.
