Should be fine but once the trial runs out you won't be able to play them unless you renew the subscription.

New hardware information from several tech sources who have been pulling the console apart is that on top of the 8GB of GDDR5 RAM that the console contains it also has 2GB of DDR3 SDRAM & 256MB of flash memory for "other tasks".

To give you an idea of what that means the Wii-U in total only has that 2GB of the same DDR3 SDRAM.

It's not quite as simple as it having 10GBs of RAM as the additional 2GBs of DDR3 RAM won't be used directly for gaming purposes but it will free up the GDDR5 of non gaming tasks. This extra memory and the TrueAudio DSP chipset that AMD discussed earlier in the week (all of which weren't known about until this week) mean that there is quite a bit more processing space there than was initially believed.

Yeah, Gigabit is Gb, Gigabyte is GB.

It's like your internet speed is say 8Mb/s (Megabits a second), that around about equals 1MB/s (Megabytes a second). Like how Gigabit ethernet is around 128MB/s theoretically.

That would make far more sense although both the places I read about it actually stated a total of 10GBs of RAM. According to Jeff Rigby on SemiAccurate it is 2Gbs. Not sure what Jeff Rigby does but he tends to know a lot about stuff like this and is trustworthy so as well as making sense I'd believe it because he says as much.
