It is, but HDMI CEC is really poorly implemented by several manufacturers, despite it being a standardization.

lol. yes. 360 is hooked up via VGA..... I did buy an HDMI port for it though. Currently in use by the Sky box.

Does your 360 work through the HDMI?
My 360 won't turn on if the TV isn't on, I think those are the kinds of problems people have been having. Except it's not their TV that isn't turned on, it's that their TV isn't talking properly over HDMI.

^ it came out here on the 15th they always get COD games in the masses dunno who their supplier is but it's kinda obvious when it's a stolen game and sold to CEX. Dunno if that many copies of CoD would be...

I never got any warning email about them taking payment today. I did for the Xbox One. I'm kind of annoyed because they've charged me for a game I pre-ordered that I kept meaning to cancel. I guess I'll try calling them tomorrow.

Same here, they will have loads of cards to charge, may be a day or so before ours

It doesn't bother me, being charged early. Just means I know I'm getting one and everything is okay.

Also gives you a chance to fix any payment issues.

I was worried like everyone else that this thing was gonna be a Lemmon I've reassured myself somewhat by looking around and finding stats on previous launches it seems the fail rates of both last gen launches where far higher.

So they sold a million just in the us, sony are claiming a 0.04% failure rate, the balanced person says that's not bad that's quite normal for a launch of this size. (The industry standard is 3%) and history tells us the ps3 had a higher fail rate and that Microsoft's official figures are that only 5% of the 360s it shipped arrived dead

if there are massive issues, I'm sure it will all be resolved in a similar mannor to xboxs rrod, it didn't hamper the 360 last gen so I doubt it will hamper the ps4 this gen,

but where not at that stage yet. everyone loves a story where the big guys fails, and media wise we have a lot more Chanel's to vent our frustration Facebook, YouTube,forums, and customer reviews ect. is it just that this launch we have a lot more ways to complain we live in the age of social media after all.

I see thanks, yet it's always amusing to see certain CEX stores get lots of copies of newly released games without question.
