Another big Burnout 2 fan here!

I hated Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit as the handling was really imprecise. Gaps between cars I'd squeak through on B2, I was just crashing on in NFS.

I stopped playing NFS and just went and bought another copy of Burnout 2!

I must say though, that I've had a LOT of fun with Driver: San Francisco. You've got the risk/reward mechanics of B2 (drifting, oncoming traffic, air), but in an open-world version of San Fran with real cars, a brilliant "Shift" mode (swap between cars) and chase scene homages (Bullett, Cannonball Run, Gone in 60 Seconds etc.)

Oh erm, we've gone off-topic.

I'd like a next-gen Driver and Stuntman, please!

I can't agree with you there, The handling on Hot Pursuit was absolutely bang on. It was so tight I could confidently do that 20ish minute outskirts race without a single collision.

I wish more games were as solid tbh.

How much was the mega bundle? I kept seeing it on their site for ?449? isn't it supposed to be ?429?

It was brilliant, especially when you had a really crazy fast car like one of the Lamborghini's or Bugattis and you had got the hang of the drifting.

The handling on HP was just dull, exactly what puts me off Rivals.

I didn't mind the handling, it was the tediousness of the game as it carried on that killed it for me. MW's open world slightly side stepped the issue by giving a little more freedom in races but NFS has been too focused and governed by the police chase angle for too long now, the games are built to get in the way of racing at every chance they can. Every positive NFS memory I have of late is one where a cop car or blockade isn't involved.

Indeed. The handling worked fine and I found it precise but it was far too simple to have long term fun.

Had my email from Shopto saying that orders would start being processed from Saturday 16th but I've yet to see any activity on my internet banking.

Others however have already been charged having received the email *after* the transaction. There's loads of flak on Twitter about poor customer service.

I guess I'm not so bothered as, having yet to be charged, the email has just set in stone the fact I have a machine Day One!!

PS: I realise that comes across as more than a little selfish.

Same here, nothing else though. Tempted to pre pay now but you never know

I see. GAME also did it at ?429.99. Even with little use for the camera and second controller, its definately the best value.

I was buying KILLZONE anyway so to have the camera and a second pad was a deal breaker shame shopto didn't match Amazon or Game but I'm more than happy to have the bundle

Yeah ?430 bundle was pretty good value, seemed silly not to pay the extra ?30 they where asking for an extra pad and the cam.

I have also been charged this afternoon for my PS4 from Shopto. but what i dont understand i requested finance for it and added it to my finance basket but have still been charged on my debit card? I have not had any kind of email or anything saying there was an issue with credit etc, anyone else gone down the finance route with Shopto?
