Nice to look at, but it looks like it will get boring very quickly.

Looks good but not a fan of quick time events in fighting games, takes the control element away imo.

I think this could be a guilty pleasure for me, I do actually like the look of it. I think as long as I go I to it knowing its basically a button masher of sorts I will probably enjoy it, my only issue I'm not sure i want to take a punt at ?50, I will probably wait till it drops in price. Wonder if there will be a demo?

          Looked much better at Gamescom.

I'm not writing it off yet.

Graphically gorgeous. Hopefully fun to play.

Looks incredible. I really hope it doesn't play like a modern version of an "Interactive lazer disc game" like Dragons lair....

it looks more god of war than lazer disk. Sick of seeing that Neck stab animation loop already its shown five times in the vid above which is a worry, I'm sure after level one when you have seen this move 50 times in the first ten minutes its gonna get old very quick.

I may be a bit biased in my views as I'm not a fan of this sort of game anymore 3 very similar god of wars and countless inferior clones and portable versions have put me off this sort of game.

Alos they seem t have a bit of a internal conflict on where this sits, on one hand we have ketchup blood and stupid hamhock style limb dismemberment, but then they roll out the roman weapon and fighting expert, so they want it to be semi realistic which means where not going to get the crazy brutal finishing moves than god of war showcased or the range of mythical enemys, i imagine the biggest thing your gonna fight is a large Scottish man.

it looks like it time to bring out Public Enemy again, cause the hype is all it is,Ryse is only in 900P and can't even reach 1080P, http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/di...e-runs-at-900p.

Found this quote on eurogamer and it made me chuckle, 1080p-900p=180. U-turn continues.

Is this the game where it didn't matter if you hit the right buttons, or even hit them at all?

i don't care, the game looks fantastic nonetheless, probably the best looking launch title of the next gen. the problems are elsewhere though. the camera was horrible and the controls didn't feel very intuitive. for me it showed that Ryse was originally planned as a kinect-only title.

In which case, I will not be spending any more time in this thread. Looks like the worst thing to happen in gaming since the MegaCD games.

it's disappointing at least, especially taking into account the games comes from the Crysis developer. nevertheless the game still outshines a lot of native 1080p games, including Forza and Killzone.
