Just got a Wii U today. I'm loving it, although I only have MK8 and Nintendo Land. The system is a breath of fresh air compared to the drab interfaces and feel of the PS3/360, which I both like. Can't wait to get more games, but can't afford many now. Looking to get DK: TF and SM3D World.

There's a few demo's on the eShop - the Wii U store has a demo's tab/link near the top though so are easy enough to find. No demo's of the two games you mentioned wanting before you get your hopes up.

Unfortunately most of the demos are poor representations and do a good job of dropping the player face-first into the deep end.

Just buy the games that have good word of mouth. You can't really go wrong in doing that.

I did. Thanks. Got NSMBU. I'll probably be shunned for that. There were many good games on offer... Still waiting for my code. We don't have Club Nintendo here, so this process doesn't seem automatic.

Why would you get shunned for picking NSMBU? it's almost as good as SMW.
