In that case, it's Microsoft who should be worried as there are what, two exclusive games coming to the XBone next year and everything else will be available on PS4 with better framerate and resolution.

But then again, people seem to love Michael Bay's movies too, so **** if I understand their mindset.

Xenoblade alone is probably enough to make me going for 6 months.

I'm happy with a couple of great, well designed games that I'll go back to over and over again, not disposable rubbish that you finish and never play again that most of the so-called "AAA blockbusters" are.
Fair enough, im all burnt out on so called AAA games as well, most of them are just overhyped dross. When i said blockbuster release schedule i was referring to the amount of titles, not quality, theres no doubting Nintendos commitment to releasing thoroughly tested and complete games, they just need to release more if they wish their consoles to succeed.

I blame their marketing, most (nongaming) people probably don't even know that the Wii U exists and if they do, they don't know what it actually is. They should have put a whole lot more effort pushing it from day one.

There's a lot wrong with the whole console, all of which is fixable, price point, confusing controller design and message, marketing (of any kind), more games.

That's the frustrating thing, the whole situation was more than fixable, they just chose not too, which is a massive shame as it's a waste of a perfectly good console.

You genuinely live in a cave which itself is stuck in 1992. If you don't know what's coming out on other systems or even bother to look beyond what the multiplatform games have started to become beyond the launch window why don't you just say that instead of making up nonsense to make yourself feel better.

Besides Halo 5 and Quantum Break I see little of substance coming to Xbox next year, I'll take the upcoming Wii U line-up over those any day.

It doesn't matter what comes out next year as you're stuck in your ways.

What do you mean by this?

They are no longer hampered by the early dev tools and the Kinect GPU resource and we're seeing recent multi-format titles hitting 1080p (Alien Isolation, Diablo III, Destiny etc)

So no one is allowed to say anything positive about the system or be hopeful about it without being labelled as the Xbox Defence Force? Kinda pathetic.

Well, that's good news, although we're talking about 2 cross generational games and a port of an old one so hardly gonna be demanding stuff. I don't think that those games mean we've seen the end of version disparity between PS4 and Xbox One. Kinect and dev tools aside Sony do still have the more powerful system.

As long as Xbox has some good exclusives though that's all fans will care about. They'll get Halo! 360 was better for 99% of multi-plat games last gen but if you wanted Uncharted then you needed a PS3. If you want Forza or Halo or that Insomniac game (name escapes be but I love Insomniac and am gutted it's not coming to PS4) then you gotta buy an Xbox same as you need a WiiU if you want Mario Kart.

I'm just having a laugh mate lighten up, we're only talking about games after all.

Ubisoft the biggest Wii U third party dev are jumping the Wii U ship too after Watch Dogs, well unless you want to play Just Dance or something "less mature". No pressure Nintendo.

Watch Dogs will be Ubisoft's final mature Wii U game for the foreseeable future, company boss Yves Guillemot has said.

That's not even saying much - Just Dance doesn't exactly pull in big sales figures either.

Ubisoft pulling out of Wii U software development altogether is, imho, inevitable.
