I'll have one before the year is out the main thing that has put me off is importing one is pretty expensive. Taiko no tatsujin & fatal frame are too hard to resist though. Stuff from nintendo themselves i can only see myself wanting mario 3D world & famicom remix 1&2, maybe smash bros as well.

For the longest time there was nothing i wanted on one, but slowly there is a small library of stuff. I still have all my wii games though so i can use those too, might pick up all the stuff i missed out on to fill in the gaps as i wait for wiiu games.

At this point, I'll be more amazed if Super Smash Bros. for Wii U isn't delayed until 2015.

If Nintendo don't set a date for it in Sept its 2015 for me whether it comes out this year or not. With Xmas looming already budgets have to be made and if Nintendo can't sort themselves out they can wait for my money

Wave One of the Amibo's is confirmed for the UK. Bowser and Pit don't make it this time. Out by the end of the year is as good as you get though as Nintendo still has allergies to release dates.

Amibo figures scare me, that kind of stuff i find hard to resist. With disney & skylanders i managed to hold out but these are Nintendo characters. Want to see what the paint job is like on the ones that get released it needs to be high quality although im trying to remain strong lol.

Yoshi, by the way, is STUNNING. Played it at E3, such an awesome awesome looking game that feels heavenly to play too. Cant wait for that.

Splatoon is great fun. Played that as well, a seriously cool idea executed with nintendo style. I just dont like the art style, it puts me off... Recently it was said it was going to star mario, i kinda wished it did....

But still, looking forward to it, i just cant find it appealing visually, but it plays well.

...and smash bros is great. HATED the 3DS version. Controls were horrible. Characters too hard to see....

but the wii u version was awesome. Felt more like melee than brawl to me, which i think is a good thing

Today I bought The Wonderful 101 (tried the demo last year and only now got around to buying) and Ninja Gaiden 3 (never been particularly interested, but it's ?8 at ShopTo at time of writing - how can anyone say no at that price?!). I have also preordered Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2+1, and if Smash Bros 4 hits before the end of the year then that'll be three major games in the next few months. With these games alone I'll have doubled the number of games I currently own for it, and I feel like there's a fair bit to look forward to next year too, what with Starfox, Kirby, Xeno and Zelda out then.

I feel like the Wii U is finally hitting its stride a bit. I bought mine in May of last year and since then I've only bought 5 or 6 games, and of those I've only really enjoyed Pikmin 3, Rayman Legends and Mario Kart 8. But now... I feel like I'm beginning to get my money's worth.

Ace montage but I'm sure once the new zelda is out the price will be more reasonable, i'm getting a Twilight Princes duel launch vibe considering how far off the new zelda is. I really wouldn't be surprised to see it split across two systems, like TP was on the Gamecube/wii. A proper portable/home offering would really do well for them considering that japan has fallen out of love with home consoles.

Toad Treasure Tracker looks interesting the more I see of it the more is seems to have that Nintendo charm and inventiveness that made games like Luigis mansion so fun. Bayonetta 2 and the revisit of one also looks to be a lot of fun but that's three games over a two year period its just not enough for me to take the plunge again a new Metroid, blastcorps or a new ip that isn't spaltoon would make me reconsider as games still seem very thin on the ground.
