My plan too! eBay prices aren't looking cheap at present though (surely demand allied to anticipation for MK8) and I don't really want to go the CeX or Crime Converters route as you 're even less certain about what condition the machines will be in...

Well, I've finally caved in & gone for the MK8 Bundle @ Tesco offer.
?199 after the code, minus 8 bucks quidco, minus 30ish for MK8(physical copy btw), minus at least 20ish for the free download game means i paid ?151 for a Premium.......ish!!!

Now just gotta find a cheap Wii U Pro Controller from somewhere

Precisely why I'm now seriously considering the idea of getting a Wii U. I have MH3U on the 3DS but it is pretty much unplayable without a Circle Pad Pro/XL.

When I was playing Sonic All Stars I used the pro controller ... I have also used it for ACIII. Technically most games probably support it, and yuo can use it in conjunction with the gamepad as a TV if you really want to do that as well, although that would seem pretty pointless.

It's massive and dies after a few hours but I don't think this is about what's wrong with the standard pad, rather that the pro controller is considered rather awesome!

No it connects to the console directly over wireless.

So it's a new WiiU pro controller? The Wii one had to be plugged into the Wii mote.
