82% of purchases got the bundle. I expect this to be the turning point. Again, not that it matters. If Nintendo bring out 6-10 games a year, I'm happy.

82% of uk sales came from people buying a wiiu mariokart bundle!!! wow so its not as others have suggested starved wiiu owners picking up this game, mario kart is driving new console sales. saying that I cant believe only 17% of sales in the uk came from existing owners, there must be a lot of wiiu's gathering dust or clogging up preowned shops.

I almost did but then I got a feeling we might see a console revision at E3. If we do then I'll get that, unless it's not worth it then I'm heading straight out to grab the Mario Kart bundle.

Cannot see Nintendo releasing a revision so close to the MK8 bundle. That really would be a kick in the balls. I would have thought almost everyone on this forum would want Nintendo (and any other company that makes decent video games) to come good. More companies, more games, more choice.

Yeah, bundle for me. Bought NES Remix from eshop which is addictive. Sure hope a SNES version comes out!

No new hardware revision? I hope this is right but you never can tell what Nintendo are going to do with anything they produce; I'm still a little bit sore over the 3DS price drop and the shift over to the XL model.

It certainly would but with a lot of Wii U's lying around it makes business sense to ship new packaging and put all those unsold Wii U's into those bundles. Also the Premium model has just stopped production in Japan.

I do, that is why I am so hard on them when they make poor choices. Nintendo are the most annoying company in that respect because we know of their potential yet sometimes it appears as though they are just..........bumbling along. Bumbling along with one of the worlds largest war chests and gamings greatest back catalog. Yet they can win you back with just one game .

I hope this is the turning point too but they need an amazing E3 to keep the momentum.

No, a SNES Remix.

Nintendo have been pumping out high quality but games lacking in ambition for several years. Very little of their content has the sparkle of old. Games like NSMB highlight this, as does Yoshi, Kirby, Pilotwings and more.

When they do shine, they are still outstanding. They clearly make good games. It just feels like they are going through the motions at times.
