Hang on -- Joined 10 Dec. Did you join up just to defend your honor? Aw, that's sweet. Hey, listen, you're a vast improvement. When I lived on the "English Riviera" I had a subber for some time whom I wished would die. Stuff like 50MHz just makes me wince, because g? needs to be infallible to deflect its current critics and to earn a trusted place in the experienced/hardcore/adult gamer market as the magazine becomes established.

I'll probably never mention another mistake again.

PS: was it you who changed all the k's to c's whenever the Havok physics system was mentioned in the Max Payne 2 review? Doh! I've mentioned another one already. I'll go.

That Havoc/Havok thing? Nothing to do with me. It came to me as Havoc, I left it as Havoc. I have to trust these guys to get things right as the mag would never get out the door otherwise.
Yes, you're right, mistakes in the mag do detract from its credibility but it's a case of live and learn - if one issue has a certain mistake in it, that's another thing to remember to get right next time.
Anyway, you're a contributor, I'm a sub - I *own* you. 8)

I'm just checking the original file I sent Mart...and can't find any offending 50MHz in the text. Unless I'm missing something, 50\60 is mentioned once in the entire article, including the boxarts.

btw I really like GamesTM. It's the only games magazine that I can read without getting angry at the incompetence of the writer. It's well-written, intelligent and not opinionated.
