Given konamis recent eradication of all things named kojima it makes sense they would remove this too. I hope all this rubbish comes out in the light as soon as he leaves, which he sure will do.

I don't know what's happened with Konami and Kojima but it seems so daft that I almost don't believe it. The whole head transplant doctor thing that came out a few days ago too...it's almost like one final crazy plotline to help launch MGS5.

Totally unrelated to gaming, similar thing with Kawasaki, (alledgedly) they only got in to motorcycles and it was the bosses son's hobby or something and bike sales account for something like less than 0.5% of their annual turnover.

Konami confirms their contract with Reedus is over. They say that they will continue to develop the SH series but the particular wording does suggest they'll be starting from scratch

Well that's it then. A real shame. I am not remotely consoled that they say they will still develop Silent Hill games - they have no idea what they are doing with it and it needed people with a clear vision to revitalise it.

It really does feel like there was a severe break-up with Kojima behind the scenes and Konami are going scorched earth on anything he was involved with. I have no idea what happened there but, from the outside, it seems petty and self-destructive.
