So even if its in your download history, you can't re-download it? Glad I redownloaded it the other day then :|

    A digital age indeed.

If you got to your download history now it will just show the name and that's it, no picture, file size nothing.

A shame really. I was looking forward to this. I've never really played a horror game but can appreciate their place in gaming. However, I played the demo of this (for two mintues because it was too scary) and it looked so promising that I would've definitely picked it up.

I'm putting my ps4, with PT demo installed on ebay for a grand.

Scorched earth! It's a shame it has been pulled completely. I was hoping to get to play it some day. It was the one game I was keeping an eye on with a view to eventually getting a PS4. I'm sure there will be others...

For me, the game was something you should try once, but once you have played it through, there really is no reason to revisit.

I'm sure it will pop back up some day... If not, there is always Youtube.

It can still be downloaded from the download history.

P.T., Kojima Productions' playable teaser for its now defunct Silent Hills project, is no longer available to re-downlo…

If you live in the US it seems that the ability to redownload P.T has just been removed, the EU version still works but presumably it's headed in the same direction very soon

Does that go against any terms or conditions against consumer law?

All old Xbox 360 games that were pulled from Live Arcade, such as Outrun 2 because Sega lost the Ferrari license, were still able to be downloaded if you had purchased the game. Obviously PT is different because it was a free demo but I would have imagined the same rule applies.

It's quite scary how Konami are wholesale removing projects that Kojima and his team worked on like it did not exist. Big business is always ****ing terrifying.

                      Pettiness knows no bounds unfortunately.

So looks like the game has a death timer on it now.
Expires in 220 days so like with ps+ when that expires you won't be able to boot it up again.

Wow, they're going that far? That's crazy.

This sounds like hyperbole but it feels like Konami are vandalising their history, I'm genuinely quite astounded by their behaviour.

Have you been listening to the latest Bombcasts Wools? Jeff goes pretty in depth about Konami and how the majority of their turnover comes from gambling and health & fitness clubs. It almost seems as if that Kojipro was the last game studio for them to get rid of before pulling out of the console gaming market entirely.

Very sad news. Still, when they said they were looking to recruit a new team to produce more Metal Gear you have to wonder what happened there. I can only assume it was an issue of revenue return on revenue invested into the last few Metal Gear products.

What if Kojima is the one being a dick? What of he didn't like the way MGS5 was going and said I want my name taken off it? And I want that P.T. Demo down as well because that's mine and I'm taking it with me?
