I know this is going off what worked on the 3DS but couldn't they do anything about the interface? The black backgrounds behind everything are silly. Game looks like a mess but I bet it's fun to play from an addictive level up/unlock point of view, not from the actual gunplay.

Also, Wesker suddenly has one glowing red eye when he puts on his shades like some Terminator knock off. Both his eyes are red/yellow lol.

I've got this preordered even though I really was not a fan of Revelations on PS3.

I fear releasing his just after REmake HD will show this up more than it would usually...

I like the look of this far more than the first one. The environments look more interesting and the combat looks more like Resi 4. Rev1 had really dull combat against boring enemies. This looks like it has more variety and the Re4/5 shoot then melee combat system.

Well I recall them saying this was the title to "return to classic" Resi roots- so it depends whether they mean classic Resi, or classic Resi 4

I've got the boxes copy on preorder rather than the episodic nonsense, so I'll have time to see impressions before I pull the trigger

Don't know how anyone can be excited for this. The barry part even looks **** and that's supposed to be the 'horror' part of the game.

Lemsip and hopefully some sort of mask. Reminds me of how they turned Jill into a potato nose in resi 5.

The hit point stuff is just for Raid. Part of the stat driven gun modification.

I'm excited for it because I like third person Japanese action games. This might not be the best game out there but it is reminiscent of Resi 4 and it has some interesting ideas like the non combative partner characters. If anyone thinks this is a scary horror game or a real return to Resi's roots, they are fooling themselves. This is a Resi themed action game. Resi 4 is God Tier and Resi 5 is an excellent action game even if it strays from the normal Resident Evil style. I also love Lost Planet 1 and 2 and this seems to be borrowing from that in some areas.

And don't worry Kit, everyone knows you hate this. It's easy to tell by the way you repeatedly post generic anger in the thread of something you claim to hate yet can't stop looking at.
