Sold out everywhere in the Netherlands, and I can't get shipping from either Germany or France which is very annoying. Actually, Amazon France no longer have stock, and the German sellers are scalpers charging €120+ over RRP.

Well that isn't a surprise although it is surprising that the UK seems to have received the lions share of the quota.

I want to see the long term effects of having a oled panel on it regarding image retention and the panel degrading over time, with my current switch screen those worries are not really an issue. At the momet it's about 60/40 the time it's spent docked vs handheld.

Didn't the early PSVita units have screens that turned green over time? Or am I thinking of something else?

If i remember it was something weird happening with the blacks on oled vitas.

If you already have a switch your not really missing out on much it's not some huge gamechanger it's like when the ds going to ds lite. Of course youtubers are gonna hype it up for clicks but the hype will settle like always.

I've got a Switch Lite and I find it hand-crampingly small for prolonged play.

That's a bit harder to deal with, in the meantime ever thought of using a stand & a pro controller? that would help be a bit more comfortable at least.

This is why I use that Skull & Co grip I linked a bit further back... just find that helps enough for longer sessions.

That was my issue with the lite and lead me to sell it for a switch Mario edition.
But I have my Mario edition up for sale now as I’ve got the Oled switch.

Got my OLED Switch yesterday and have to say its so bloody nice, that screen is such a big upgrade, the colours and detail etc just pop of the screen, its quite incredible. I have been watching comparison videos all week but its so much better than i expected. Also the screen size increase, whilst on paper doesnt sound that much but for me it makes a massive difference, its like going from the 3DS to the XL model but much better than that, its quite perfect. The whole unit just feels much better quality wise, the kick stand is acutally usable, and with the slight increase in screen size i actually have been using it. If you have the original model and only play docked, probably not worth upgrading but I sold my original model Switch a few months ago in anticipation for the OLED, so was a no brainer for me getting it and im well happy with it.
