I think they learned this the hard way. No way they'd show NFL and a Halo Show again.

We know they have a walkthrough planned of Forza 8 and the dedicated one for Starfield so this should be a slam dunk for them as they need add very little to make a good impression. That being said, we're 10 years on from the XBO reveal and if they've proven anything it's that you can never bank on MS not blowing a good promo opportunity

Ah yes the great white hope Starfield, looking forward to the “community fixed” version in 15 years thats still a glitchy broken mess. Still, hopefully itle be a nice stable 20fps on launch though.

Oh come on, surely Bethesda have learned from the launch of Fallout 76 and polished the game to a clear finish that won't let players down.

Probably not but on the flip side it will be running 20fps faster than the PS5 version!

There's not a chance Starfield is going to be launching in a broken state given the internal teams at Microsoft have been working closely with Bethesda - and more than this, why would you want it to?

Suuuuuuure it won’t. Doesn’t matter to me either way, if it’s a broken mess I’ve lost nothing, which it most certainly will be, ala most their big games, if not I’ll pick it up at some stage. Even Arkane have let themselves down recently and they were rock solid before Redfall.

But it will probably be a broken mess.

I heard they're nearly ready to launch the full game they just need Tree fiddy Mill more too add a few more features.

                          they have stretch goals too

350 million: we will make all planets solid to stop you flying though them
650 MIllion: add Some more white dots to make it look more spacey
950 Million: steve is a bit handsy and we have a few law suits to settle

Starfield will be good. It'll still have some broken sections and glitchy ****, but it'll probably be the most solid release of Bethesdas.

This is wrong thinking - developers releasing broken games is bad for everyone because there is no incentive to improve anything on any platform - it just becomes an acquiescence as demonstrated here.

If developers are releasing good games that aren't a broken mess, it starts raising the bar because unless you want to look inept, you have to improve your efforts. This benefits all gamers.

Everyone should want (and expect) games to be good on all platforms, regardless of fatuous allegiances, rather than tacitly accepting games are released broken these days.

yup i was gut gutted when Redfall landed in the state it is in currently, and i was really disappointed about Atomic heart as two big shooters i was really hoping would at least be half decent turned out to be not even average, i still played quite a bit of redfall and you can see the potential as your playing it which makes it all the more painful that it landed so poorly and most likely wont get fixed or updated to any decent level.
