Yeah, pretty much everything I played was done so sat on my arse, but there were definitely some that expected me to stand up a fair bit too.

I consider Resi 7 the gold standard for this approach, but are there many others so far?

Seems all Xbox Studios are very much working on known titles or new stuff we don't know yet. I understand several studios are working on 2 simultaneously or have grown in size recently.

Time will tell, but as Neon mentions the focus for Xbox is very much on normal experiences and not VR.

This doesn't surprise me given their position and the fact they almost killed their entire business building a console around a niche experience.

As someone who's currently playing through the latest Trails game on PS4 I very much hear you on that.

I'll give this a look when I get a chance as I've heard good things about it.

No Man's Sky. The immersion in VR is incredible, so much so that I can't play it flat now.

Similar to this, I am actually better playing Wipeout in VR from inside the cockpit. Crazy. Oh and Tetris.

I'm sad to admit I've only played Wipeout once in VR. Is anyone else having connection issues with their PSVR on PS5? I'm using the HDMI cable that came with the PS5 and am wondering if that is (part of) the issue.

                Elite Dangerous
                IL-2 Sturmovic
                DCS
                Skyrim I guess

Resi 7 is the one though.

For VR only AAA it's Half Life Alyx.

IMO Wipeout is the second best VR game ever made. Sooooooooo good and yes, you can get way faster times in VR in the cockpit than in 2D. The week it came out in VR there was a brief period where I was in the Top 10 across the world for some tracks, and I'm not even good at the game.

God I would love to play Wipeout in VR.

There are a bunch of games I've deliberately not played - Wipeout Omega, Tetris Effect, Rez Infinite - because I've been waiting to play them in VR.

Now having owned a PS4 since 2013 and PS5 since launch, you may very well ask me, why the hell didn't I just buy a PSVR at any point in the last 5 years and play them?

And the answer is I have no idea.

                  Fingers crossed for PSVR2 BC!

Wipeout is ridiculously good in VR. I'm tempted to dig my VR out tonight now and give it a go.

You need an adapter which you can request for free here

I have the adapter, but there is no signal going from the VR box to the TV. I've not actually turned the headset on as no TV picture is not an option.
Yes, I've got the older headset, no I don't have HDR on as my TV doesn't support it anyway, so it's not a passthrough problem.

You don't actually need a hdmi going to your TV from the breakout box if you don't want. I play without. Just make sure the Hdmi from your PlayStation goes into the correct input in the breakout box and you are set.
Could be knackered if you get nothing through the headset though.

I do need the HDMI going to the TV so I can play PS5 games on the TV, not being able to see the baby is not an option.

The headset was fine with the PS4, but maybe I just switched the HDMI cables the wrong way? I was pretty sure I'd double checked what went where before I packed it in (couldn't have the cables out because of the baby grabbing them).

I'll probably look at it tomorrow night.

                                Didn't they already remake this?
