Good state of play. It seems almost all the titles not VR based are going to PS4 as well?

Stray is a nice addition to kick off PS+ rebirth, plus Tunic is a great game and needs to be everywhere.

The most interesting bits for me were that most titles are also going to Xbox/PC. So RE4, Callisto Protocol, even Street Fighter 6 are heading to Xbox as well.

Nice to see Spiderman heading to PC confirmed though I kinda expected them to do Miles Morales at the same time. Maybe we will see that jump before the year is out.

No GOW Ragnarok date confirmation either but for a 30m run time it was decent.

Ok official press release says Miles Morales heads to PC in fall 2022... so they're both hitting PC by end of year.

Missed that if it was in the trailer.

        Final Fantasy XVI looked excellent.

Interesting that PSVR2 is getting so much coverage yet there's still no kind of full reveal for it. Also, that they showed stuff off but PS5 is still missing its first party line up for the rest of the year

Yeah I think the reality is besides GOW there probably isn't anything else for this year... what with Gran Turismo and Horizon already hitting in Q1.

I wonder if GOW is still tentative or whether their just holding back a few more months to show more polish and build the next state of play around it?

Who knows, though it was telling that this state of play covered 3rd parties, PS4 and PC as much as PS5. Sony have clearly, quite rightly, changed strategy.

God of War most likely late in the year now, is what it is, we’ve had a good run of ps5 games since launch.

Yeah I still expect it to land in 2022 given they were showing off accessibility options recently. From the looks of it the game is most likely content ready and going through bug fixing and polish.

Only thing is, of course, until we get a confirmed date there's always a chance it'll still and even with hard dates written in pen things can change.

                  As a third-party showcase, I was impressed.

                  Stray release date
                  Callisto Protocol
                  Street Fighter 6 looks stunning!!
                  Resident Evil 4 Remake (?!)

There was never going to be a date for Ragnarok announced yesterday. That'll get its own "thang" later towards the end of the summer. If it does still launch in 2022 then it will be September or October to leave November and December to the big third party stuff that grannies buy in droves like CoD and FIFA.

Rumour is this tweet is indicating that The Last of Us: Remake will release on 02 September 2022 on PS5 and PC

Ah ok I thought 2&3 already were 60, I’ve never played them so, shrug. Good for people that haven’t gone through them.

That's quick, they announced this a few months back didn't they? I figured we wouldn't see anything till later in the year.

Hope the Series X update shares the same schedule. Great excuse for another play through.
