Go for it... You've earned it. The only pain is the conversion rate is lower. I tend to buy hardware like controllers instead and then sell/trade them which generally works out at a better deal.

Ah yeah good shout on the controllers i didn't think about trade or resale potential, i have three Xbox controllers at present and only one me to use them so didn't even consider any more controllers.

These swirling rumours of the Starfield showcase have me wondering whether we will get an LE console (surely we will) and what it will look (hopefully not the most tasteless pile of crap imaginable).

Microsoft have a pretty good track record with these LEs at this stage as they did a particularly extensive job with the One X Cyberpunk machine and the Series X Halo one was pretty nice too.

I'm deffo curious to see how it looks. Presumably it will fit with the 'NASApunk' thing they've got going on.

Do you think its morally wrong to turn my xbox points into Argos vouchers and buy PlayStation credit, theirs nothing i want on xbox as most big release are coming out on gamepass but i could get a ton of VR games on PSN with all the points Ive saved up

I redeemed points for £20 of Amazon credit to get a Nova Pink DualSense late last year.

It felt really naughty. Like I was sticking two fingers up at the system while shouting "**** the man!!"

Good re use of unsold stock after all. In all seriousness I have the Halo In special console and it’s an awesome looking console, the hidden glyphs are seriously cool.

Weirdly, Amazon JP gift cards are a better rate than MS Store and Xbox gift cards:

Amazon JP ¥600 = 5,250 points
Amazon JP ¥1,200 gift card = 13,000 points

MS gift card ¥600 = 6,050 points
MS gift card ¥1,200 = 13,050 points

I don’t know if there’s a monthly redemption limit or something like that because it’s weird that the higher value gift cards have a worse rate.

Looks like MS made the monthly rewards round up abit tougher get, from 1 weekly completion to 3(so minimum 3 weeks now), 3 achieves to 5, app/bing logins from 5 to 7.

Not bothered with the consoles but I like what they've tried to do with the controller triggers being Grogu's ears... It's still tatt but that's some nice lateral thinking

Season 3 is looking excellent to be fair.

It's shorter than the previous seasons, it has more maps including some extra community made ones dropping into the now standard community playlist... and they're going to let you earn battle pass XP in that playlist. Then you've got the new weapon and equipment to try out.

All up it's what Seasons 1-2 should have been, plus it's coming with quite a few quality of life bug fixes.
