I'll deffo be giving that a go. Love me some clunky Capcom mech shooting over the top shiz.

Yeah, I got heavy Lost Planet vibes!

Yeah maybe you're bang on there. I admit I kinda skipped through the video whilst in a teams meeting... now I've watched it again I think you're on to something.

Ghostwire Tokyo hits Xbox next month with all platforms getting more content.

Not interested in revisiting this one, it was a pretty weak hour for TG

Redfall looks really, really good to me... that is absolutely my thing and I cannot wait for it to come out.

I just wish I had 3 other people along for the ride as it seems that'll be the sweet spot to play it.

Maybe not though, wasn't their discussion on multiplayer progress being tied to only the host, so if you play as a four only one person progresses their story, this seemed really silly to me. I'll be playing it solo no doubt as it looks like it will be a good shooter and i really like the look of the setting and the game play.

Yep, no progress for anyone but the host, so completely pointless coop.

                  I don't actually mind that... I mean, it's annoying but I don't think it renders co-op pointless.

I would probably look to play through solo first if possible.

You haven't ever just played cooperatively with someone for the fun of playing with them?

                    Absolutely not pointless.

Does seem the design choice to have an open world that updates like a Farcry map progression is the man reason story isn't uniform, probably way to many variables to account for so they thought to best not bother. But then i expect the story to be short, so repeating the same story mission a few times shouldn't be a problem, then most of your time if you stick around will be endgame stuff and like Ouenben points out, hopefully you're there to have a laugh with mates as well and take back any equipment rewards and exp you get.

Sadly this isn't a one off, so many co-op focused games do this for story/world progression even in the likes of snowrunner, you can join your mates world and the only thing you can take back is cash and exp (both very useful but don't upgrade your own map).

From an idea about spies to a pirate adventure celebrating its fifth anniversary - we spoke to key members of the Sea of Thieves team to get the story of this spectacular project, from the very beginning.

Rare is mapping out another 5 years of Sea of Thieves support

One positive I'm reading is that you're completely untethered in co-op. You can go anywhere and separate if you want to.

I figure they've done the progression thing because there's a clear story narrative and order to things in this.

What would be good is if it locked to the lowest progression of the story across all co-op players... but as it is I think it's annoying but fine.

What would be good is if you all just made progress, imagine Destiny or Sea of thieves where only the host made progress, they would be DOA, do it right, or don’t bother at all devs.

I bought a Series X from a nice fella on Craigslist JP last week for Y40,000(£250).

We met at the train station and I didn't even test it out - just looked inside the box - but I'm finishing my paternity leave and will be back on my proper salary so I was in a gambling mood.

The Series X keeps selling out here in Japan and used prices have dropped recently but they still hover above RRP so this was a bargain I really wasn't expecting.

I've been too busy to do anything more than set the console up and make sure it works, but it was very nice seeing 700-odd GB available instead of the 325GB on my Series S (which was bursting at the seams thanks to Flight Sim!).

I think I might get a Series X just for Perfect Dark. It’s really annoying that its one of the very few games that I can’t play on the PC. Reckon we could get some online games going with it if I do?
