Thought that was really good. Surprised how many things jumped out to me that I’d like to play.

Starfield looks great, too. Kind of just exactly what I want it to be honestly.

Not a great deal coming in 2023-2024, Starfeild looks awesome, a new flight sim and new non horizon forza no thanks.

Looking forward to Metaphor: Refantazio in 2024. Directed by Katsura Hoshino who led P4 and P5 and worked on many other Megaten games in a designer/producer/etc capacity.

It was a nice surprise to find out what he and his time had been working on, I didn’t expect that.

But, it forms a clear divide. Starfield looks like a game MS has put it's time and effort and resources into to be amazing. And then all the other games they have are clearly just side dishes.
'Heres all the other **** we don't care so much about'
Post Starfeild (which looks like i’m gonna get lost in for a very very long time ) their seems to be nothing else of note on the horizon, unless that is you want budget steampunk bioshock, some indie stuff or are happy to wait 3-4 years for Fabel to show up. Momentum seems to be Microsoft’s biggest issue now with gamepass.

That show did have one thing going for it, no gears at least.

Oh another controller, I would say special edition but there’s so many of them now their just controllers at this point.

What in the hell is South of Midnight it could be kart racing game with voodoo characters from the deep south for all the information that trailer gave?

it dose sound pretty good from the way the devs describe what their trying to do though

South of Midnight is a brand new third-person action-adventure set in a magic realist take on the American South. You've seen the trailer, now learn much, much more about the game in our exclusive interview.

Going in blind - here we go:

                  -Fable
I don't know if it appears later again so a shame that it's just a speaking trailer but I like the tone and it seems visually very up to snuff

                  -South of Midnight
Literally the same thoughts as Fable

                  -Star Wars: Outlaws
Hard to know what to make of that one but the word Ubisoft doesn't help things

                    -Payday 3
Will probably please fans but looks rough and more like a remaster

                    -Avowed
                    Is Skyrim-like?

                    -Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Is this an update or a new game?

                    -Hellblade II
Still really lost on the AAA nature of this and the trailer showed nothing to help but visually nice

                    -Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Another one? And again - Everyone stop showing trailers that give zero context of the gameplay!

                    -Forza Motorsport 8
Still looks nice, glad it's definitely landing this year

                      -Starfield
                      Looking very good

                      -Jusant
Looks good, if the gameplay holds up

                      -Still Wakes the Deep
                      I'm in on this one

                      -Clockwork Revolution
... I like the look of it largely because of the game it reminds me of but seems like a late 2024 title

There's a lot I skipped because it's late and there's still a clear but at least more evidenced 'games are on the way' message. Not a Instant KO presentation but finally Xbox had a decent one

I really liked the look of both Jusant and Still Wakes the Deep also. I’ve really enjoyed some of the previous games from both Dontnod and Chinese Room, so I think they could be my thing, too.

                          My overall review:

I think it was a well presented presentation. It was clean and clear and pretty much game after game. I appreciate that it was either in game engine or gameplay so at least we have an understanding of what the look of the games will be.
I think for me the best thing was that there were very few sequels, they were all mainly new games, which is what we need.
                          Also, Starfield looked incredible.

                          But...

I don't believe they ever said what hardware the games were running on. It could be a PC with a 4090 for all we know.
Starfield had some shaky framerates, I'm sure DF will do a deep dive, but it was definitely juddering in parts (which if its on a 4090, how is thing going to run on a seriesS??)
Most of the trailers had zero gameplay giving no idea about what they'll be like. Fable has been in development for a few years now and all we get is Richard Ayoade?? Really??
Most of the first party games shown kind of look the same too. They all had a very similar colour tone and art style. You could do a mash up of Fable, Avowed and Hellblade and you'd think they're all part of the same game.

Edit: Also...Most of them are 2024...so next year is the year of XBOX guys, for sure this time....100%...

Starfield is locked at 30fps on console, no option for a performance mode even. Sod that, if their saying that now itle be running under that. Also it was shakey as flip and most likely running off a top end pc so, year, as usual for Bethesda then.

Flight sim was obviously running on a top end pc with full RT on, so you can count those graphics out for console.
