Is it available anywhere or is it one of those games that have vanished due to an expired license?

Long gone, it was never made to be backward compatible on console and the PC version was only released physically. The devs moved onto a sequel as the game sold well but they ended up getting closed down and the rights were mixed between Universal, Konami etc as well as it featuring licensed music so it likely fell foul of many issues. A strong choice for Nightdive to resurrect
